Woodhenge Ear Care
Safe and effective ear care and ear wax removal
Our founder, Martina, started Woodhenge Ear Care after becoming aware of the changes in care offered by local GP surgeries and the very long waiting times to see any NHS Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) department. While working as a senior nurse and manager of an outpatient department, she could see it was getting harder to get an appointment all the time, leaving people suffering unnecessarily.
Ear wax removal is a simple procedure, and it seems so unfair that people struggle with their hearing or tinnitus or experience uncomfortable and itchy ears. To help with this situation and give people another option for their ear wax removal and ear care.
Having qualified as a nurse in 2006 and spent time working in a busy accident and emergency department, Martina went on to work for a charitable trust managing an outpatient service before choosing to specialise in ear care. After completing a microsuction and manual ear wax removal course, Martina is able to help people with the discomfort of blocked ears from ear wax with instant results. Some people have their hearing restored to their normal levels once the wax is removed.
Working from her comfortable and easy-to-find clinic, Martina offers affordable appointments to anyone experiencing ear issues due to wax build-up. For anyone who cannot get to the clinic, Martina offers home visits and also works in care homes and similar facilities.
Woodhenge Ear Care is pleased to be able to offer one-to-one care and a personalised service for all clients. Our business continues to grow and our happy and fully satisfied clients return to us whenever they need another appointment.
We are fully insured and hold enhanced DBS certification.
